TEMAN Community Guidelines

"Teman" means "Friend" in Indonesian.

Teman은 한국에 거주하는 외국인들이 안전하고 신뢰할 수 있으며, 의미 있는 공간에서 연결되고, 경험을 나누고, 진정한 관계를 형성할 수 있도록 만들어졌습니다. 모든 이용자는 건강하고 존중받는 커뮤니티를 유지하기 위해 본 가이드라인을 읽고 따라야 합니다.

Teman is designed to create a safe, trusted, and meaningful space for foreigners living in Korea to connect, share experiences, and build real relationships. All users must read and follow these guidelines to help maintain a healthy and respectful community.

1 커뮤니티 원칙 및 안전 시스템

"친구" 정신

다른 이용자를 존중, 친절, 개방성으로 대하세요 — 진짜 친구를 대하듯이요. Teman은 신뢰, 공감, 상호 존중을 바탕으로 만들어졌습니다.

진정한 연결 우선

Teman은 정보 공유만을 위한 것이 아니라, 온라인과 오프라인에서 진정한 연결과 의미 있는 경험을 만들기 위한 것입니다.

커뮤니티 안전

AI 기반 필터링과 관리자 중재를 통해 성적 비위, 혐오 발언, 스팸, 사기, 불법 활동 등 유해 콘텐츠를 감지, 검토, 관리합니다.

신고 시스템

부적절한 콘텐츠, 의심스러운 행동을 발견하거나 안전하지 않다고 느끼면 즉시 신고 기능을 사용해 주세요. 신고는 가능한 빨리 검토되며, 반복적이거나 심각한 위반은 계정 제한 또는 정지로 이어질 수 있습니다.

정확성과 책임

이용자는 게시, 채팅, 거래, 모임 조직 시 정확한 정보를 제공해야 합니다. 오해를 유발하거나 기만적인 행동은 중재 조치를 받을 수 있습니다.

Treat others with respect, kindness, and openness — just as you would treat a real friend. Teman is built on trust, empathy, and mutual respect.

Real Connection First

Teman is not only for sharing information, but for building real connections and meaningful experiences, both online and offline.

Community Safety

We use AI-based filtering and admin moderation to detect, review, and manage harmful content, including sexual misconduct, hate speech, spam, scams, and illegal activity.

Reporting System

If you encounter inappropriate content, suspicious behavior, or feel unsafe, please use the Report function immediately. Reports are reviewed as quickly as possible, and repeated or serious violations may lead to account restrictions or suspension.

Accuracy and Responsibility

Users are expected to provide accurate information when posting, chatting, trading, or organizing meetups. Misleading or deceptive behavior may result in moderation action.

2 금지 행위 (무관용 정책)

이 규칙을 위반하면 콘텐츠 삭제, 기능 제한, 일시 정지 또는 영구 계정 해지가 될 수 있습니다.

성적 비위

모든 형태의 성희롱, 성적으로 노골적인 콘텐츠, 원치 않는 성적 접근, 강압적 행동, 부적절한 메시지는 엄격히 금지됩니다. 게시물, 댓글, 모임 설명, 개인 메시지 모두 해당됩니다.

차별 및 혐오 발언

국적, 인종, 민족, 종교, 성별, 성적 지향, 장애, 나이 또는 기타 정체성에 기반한 차별적, 혐오적, 비하적 언어나 행동은 금지됩니다.

위협, 폭력, 괴롭힘

위협적 언어, 스토킹, 협박, 괴롭힘, 신상정보 공개, 반복적인 원치 않는 연락은 엄격히 금지됩니다.

스팸 및 남용

반복 게시, 과도한 홍보, 오해를 유발하는 제목, 가짜 참여, 무관한 링크, 봇 유사 행동, 플랫폼 기능 남용은 허용되지 않습니다.

사기, 스캠, 기만

스캠, 가짜 구인, 허위 모임 설명, 사칭, 결제 사기, 기만적 게시물은 엄격히 금지됩니다.

불법 활동

마약, 불법 도박, 위조 문서, 사기, 금지 물품 거래 등 한국 법률을 위반하는 모든 활동은 즉시 영구 정지되며, 필요시 관계 당국에 보고될 수 있습니다.

개인정보 침해

동의 없이 개인정보, 사적 대화, 사진, 스크린샷 또는 이용자 콘텐츠를 플랫폼 외부에 공유하는 것은 금지됩니다. 허가 없이 모임이나 채팅 내용을 녹음하거나 유포하는 것도 금지됩니다.

사칭

다른 사람, 조직, 사업체를 사칭하거나 허위 신원 정보를 사용하여 타인을 오도하는 것은 금지됩니다.

2 Prohibited Acts (Zero Tolerance Policy)

Violation of these rules may result in content removal, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.

Sexual Misconduct

Any form of sexual harassment, sexually explicit content, unwanted sexual advances, coercive behavior, or inappropriate messages is strictly prohibited. This applies to posts, comments, meetup descriptions, and private messages.

Discrimination & Hate Speech

Any discriminatory, hateful, or degrading language or behavior based on nationality, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other identity is prohibited.

Threats, Violence, and Harassment

Threatening language, stalking, intimidation, bullying, doxxing, or repeated unwanted contact is strictly prohibited.

Spam & Abuse

Repeated posts, excessive promotion, misleading titles, fake engagement, irrelevant links, bot-like behavior, or any misuse of the platform's features is not allowed.

Fraud, Scams, and Deception

Scams, fake job offers, false meetup descriptions, impersonation, payment fraud, or deceptive listings are strictly prohibited.

Illegal Activities

Any activity that violates Korean law, including but not limited to drugs, illegal gambling, forged documents, fraud, or trafficking of prohibited items, will result in immediate permanent suspension and may be reported to the relevant authorities if necessary.

Privacy Violations

Sharing personal information, private conversations, photos, screenshots, or any user content outside the platform without consent is prohibited. Recording or distributing meetup or chat content without permission is also prohibited.

Impersonation

Pretending to be another person, organization, or business, or using false identity information to mislead others, is prohibited.

A. Meetups

  • 활성 모임 1개 제한
  • 정확한 모임 정보 기재 (목적, 날짜/시간, 장소, 예상 인원, 비용)
  • 호스트 수락/거절 권한
  • 참가자 존중 필수
  • 쿨다운 정책 적용 가능
  • 오프라인 안전: 공공장소 만남, 민감 정보 공유 자제 권장

B. Market

  • 금지 물품: 주류, 담배, 약품, 위조 문서, 무기, 위험물, 불법 제품
  • 정직한 게시: 정확한 설명, 실제 사진, 정직한 상태 및 가격 정보
  • 안전 거래: 이용자 주의 필요, 회사는 품질/적법성/진위 보장 안함

C. Jobs

  • 합법적 기회만 게시
  • 사기성 채용 금지
  • 명확한 직무 정보 기재
  • 비자 및 근로 자격은 본인 확인

3 Category-Specific Rules

A. Meetups

  • One Active Meetup per user
  • Accurate Meetup Information required (purpose, date/time, location, expected participants, cost)
  • Host Authority to accept/decline participants
  • Respectful Participation required
  • Cooldown Policy may apply
  • Offline Safety: meet in public places, avoid sharing sensitive information

B. Market

  • Prohibited Items: alcohol, tobacco, medication, forged documents, weapons, dangerous items, illegal products
  • Honest Listings: accurate descriptions, real photos, honest condition and pricing
  • Safe Transactions: Teman does not guarantee safety, quality, legality, or authenticity of items

C. Jobs

  • Legitimate Opportunities Only
  • No Fraudulent Recruitment
  • Clear Job Information required
  • Visa and Work Eligibility is the user's responsibility

4 관리자, 중재 및 채팅 관리

관리자 권한

콘텐츠, 기능, 계정을 검토, 제거, 제한할 수 있습니다.

중재 재량

명시되지 않은 유해 행동에도 적절한 조치를 취할 수 있습니다.

모임 채팅 관리

호스트가 참가자를 제거할 수 있습니다.

반복 위반

경고 → 기능 제한 → 일시 정지 → 영구 해지

심각한 위반

즉시 영구 정지 및 법적 필요 시 데이터 보존

4 Admin, Moderation & Chat Management

Admin Authority

Admins may review, remove, or restrict content, features, and accounts.

Moderation Discretion

Moderators may take appropriate action on harmful behavior even if not explicitly listed in these rules.

Meetup Chat Management

Hosts may remove participants from meetup chats.

Repeat Violations

Warning → Feature Restriction → Temporary Suspension → Permanent Termination

Serious Violations

Immediate permanent suspension and data preservation when legally required.

5 법적 고지 및 이용자 책임

이용자 책임

게시물, 채팅, 모임, 거래, 오프라인 활동에 대한 전적인 책임은 이용자에게 있습니다.

보증 없음

다른 이용자의 신원, 의도, 안전, 적법성, 품질, 신뢰성을 보장하지 않습니다.

책임 제한

이용자 상호작용, 거래, 고용, 오프라인 만남에서 발생하는 분쟁, 손실, 사고에 대해 책임지지 않습니다.

당국 협조

법령 또는 안전상 필요 시 데이터를 보존하고 제공할 수 있습니다.

언어 우선

번역본과 차이가 있을 경우 한국어 버전이 우선합니다.

5 Legal Disclaimer & User Responsibility

User Responsibility

Users are fully responsible for their posts, chats, meetups, transactions, and offline activities.

No Guarantee

Teman does not guarantee the identity, intent, safety, legality, quality, or reliability of other users.

Limitation of Liability

Teman is not liable for disputes, losses, or incidents arising from user interactions, transactions, employment, or offline meetups.

Cooperation with Authorities

Data may be preserved and provided when required by law or for safety purposes.

Language Priority

In case of discrepancy between translations, the Korean version prevails.
